Tiny Needle Tuesday

I am still trying to find a rhythm to blogging. A set schedule of posts may never happen for me. I sit to write and find my thoughts all a jumbled mess. I then overthink my photos or lack of photos. If you want pictures of our cat I have a crazy amount of those to share. She is adorable and more than a little bossy.

This is Avi.  She rules the house.

My 2025 cross stitch project was a bust. I could never decide exactly what I wanted to stitch. I’ve since been bouncing around on different projects. The one that is currently holding my attention is a fairy cross stitch.  I’m to the backstitching. I know backstitching isn’t always a favorite thing for some but it’s never bothered me too much.

Sorry about the poor position of the photo. I could not get it to rotate correctly.

I’m trying to decide if I should redo the stitching around her hand. The one looks a little large. It was late when I was working on her.  All I could think was that my fairy had man hands. I knew I needed a break.

Maybe the hand isn’t too large?  I may just leave it because we all can’t have dainty little hands.  She needs a face more than a smaller hand.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Lisa

  1. Giroux is pretty bossy too. Good thing they are cute.

I think the fairy's hands look fine. Not too big at all.

    1. They know they have the upper hand or paw. I’ll hopefully post a finished fairy before too long.

  2. It's nice to catch up with your projects Lisa. I always love to see photos of cats. I tend to list a few things that I want my blog to be about, then take the photos. At the moment, I'm sticking to a Five on Friday post, take a look at my blog to see. This format works with a Link Party set up so others can join in.
Whatever method you use for blogging, it's fine whatever you do. When we over complicate things, it all tends to slip. All the best x
